Mario Party 8 is a 2007 party video game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo. Additional game modes allow players to directly compete in minigames without making use of the game board. Mario Party 8 is the eighth game in the Mario Party series forNintendo Wii. As you progress, you can collect Coins and various items to help during your quest of finding Stars. Once a player wins a minigame, they get to pick which squares they wants to flip over to match their emblem/color.
The game is the eighth installment in the Mario Party series, and the first title in the series released for the Wii, and was followed by Mario Party 9.
For 50 Carnival Cards, you can buy any mini-game that is still locked, making it available to play in the Mini-game Tent.
There are eight different types of minigames: 4-player free-for-all, 1-vs.-3, 2-vs.-2, Battle, Duel, Challenge, Extra, and Last. BOARDS // Tips for all six game boards. It features 50 minigames, ten of which are single-player-only.
