At the end of the day then The Jackbox Party Pack 5 gets a big recommendation from me and if you were a fan of the previous game’s you will no doubt enjoy what this collection of game’s has to offer. Then finally, you can either present your pitch in person – using the game as a sort of PowerPoint presentation – or allow the hosts to try to sell your idea.
Some of us have even remembered to charge our phones. It’s a solid party game, to be sure, and if you’ve played Packs 2, 3, and 4 as much as I have you’ll be welcoming the new game options, but it’s not quite essential.
The always brilliant You Don’t Know Jack provides a multitude of questions and scenarios, often absurdly hilarious, letting you set your comedy muscle free. Something that doesn’t get repetetive no matter how many people play though is the game’s presentation. Of the 5 games on offer here, 4 will hit the spot providing you have at least a passing interest in having a laugh.
I would however recommend that you play each game with as many people as you can though because when there’s only a few of you it does get repetetive quite quickly. The primary trivia game has players answer questions about everything from grammar to geography. Even those with a low skill ceiling can intimidate people into not wanting to try, leading them to drift off pretty quickly. Of course, the worse your drawing, the funnier it can be – it just feels a little too slow paced for the pay off. The fifth edition of Jackbox Party Pack brings some notable additions in the forms of Mad Verse City and Patently Stupid. Players battle head to head, with not-competing players voting for their favorite rapper. Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was Now, imagine ignoring that and suggesting you play something skill based. And that’s why Jackbox Party Pack 5 isn’t quite on par with its predecessors. With a group of mates and some inhibition looseness, you’d have to try not to find the funny here. Overall, the biggest draw for this Jackbox Party Pack is the new You Don't Know Jack and newest gem in Mad Verse City. Movies

You Don’t Know Jack makes a return and once again it delivers genuinely funny moments that will no doubt make all that are playing laugh out loud. The variety on offer in The Jackbox Party Pack 5 is excellent. You Don’t Know Jack returns better than ever, Mad Verse City has the potential to create plenty of laughs, Zeeple Dome is a successful experiment, and Patently Stupid mixes drawings and prompts in the most clever way yet.
